Frustratation, Delays and Silly Dieticians

I know that it is a serious issue, the asthma and the sleep apnea and
anesthetic, I’m not arguing with the need to take the medication and get
my asthma under really firm control before surgery, it’s just that the
surgeon’s nurse tells me it’s at least a three month wait between booking
the surgery and the actual date. If they let me book it now, even though
they continue to monitor me in the meantime to make sure my asthma is
okay, great, but if they make me wait two months before they check to see
if it’s under control, and then boo the appointment, that puts me into tax
season, and I can’t do it then. I just want them to book me now, it’ll
still give us plenty of time to get my asthma under control in time.

I think that’s what this is, right?

Maybe we should just all lower our goal and then we’d get to where we’d really
want to be!! Ha!

I think what this really means for us is that the ideal weight (I guess this
is referenced by some skinny-butt chart) is likely not quite within our
reach–that we need to add a safety margin of reality. Hey, I can LIVE with
that!! But it seems that many people have actually met their goal so there’s
even hope that WE WILL TOO!
